IESCO Announces 2-Day Power Suspension

2-Day Power Suspension

IESCO has scheduled a two-day power suspension plan, set to take effect on Friday and Saturday, for essential maintenance and development tasks across various areas within its jurisdiction.

During the specified time frames, the power supply to several feeders and grid stations will be temporarily halted to facilitate the required work, as announced by an IESCO Spokesman.

On Friday, June 7, from 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM, areas within the Rawalpindi City Circle, including Ghousia Colony Feeder and parts of Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, will experience temporary power outages.

Similarly, on Saturday, June 8, from 07:00 AM to 10:00 AM, maintenance activities will continue in the Rawalpindi City Circle, affecting the E-Block Feeder and areas within Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, among others.

This planned power interruption is part of IESCO’s proactive measures to ensure the reliability and efficiency of its electrical infrastructure, aiming to prevent larger, unplanned outages in the future. Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements to minimize inconvenience during the specified times.
