iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max to Feature Major Camera Upgrades

iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max

Apple is set to introduce significant camera enhancements for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models, according to a new report from a Chinese tipster on Weibo. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will boast a new and improved 48MP ultrawide camera, while the iPhone 16 Pro will feature a new 5x Tetraprism telephoto lens.

These upgrades align with earlier predictions from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who reported that the iPhone 16 Pro would receive a 5x zoom camera. Rumors about the upgraded ultrawide shooter for the Pro Max have been circulating since October of last year.

The latest leak indicates that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will not see any zoom improvements, suggesting that both the Pro and Pro Max models will share similar zoom capabilities unless Apple introduces additional software features for the Pro Max.

iPhone SE 4

Regarding Apple’s more affordable lineup, the iPhone SE series, the upcoming iPhone SE 4 is expected to come with a price increase in 2025. The previous model was priced at $429, but the iPhone SE 4 is rumored to cost around $499.

This price hike is attributed to the SE 4 being based on the iPhone 14 design, unlike its predecessors which were modeled after older iPhones. Consequently, the iPhone SE 4 is anticipated to have a larger screen, bigger battery, and potentially better cameras, justifying the higher price.

However, it is important to note that these details have not been officially confirmed, so they should be taken with caution.
