Gold Price

On Wednesday, the price of gold in Pakistan saw a marginal decline, closing at Rs. 248,200 per tola.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs. 300 per tola, settling at Rs. 248,200, while the price for 10 grams decreased by Rs. 236, bringing it to Rs. 212,791.

The Sarafa Association noted that the gold price has been maintained at Rs. 4,000 below cost to account for the significant reduction in public purchasing power.

Earlier in the week, the price of gold had risen by Rs. 2,300 per tola on Monday. However, it fell by Rs. 1,900 per tola on Tuesday following a decline in international prices.

In the global market, spot gold slipped by 0.3 percent to $2,413.96 per ounce as of 1127 GMT
