Jeremy Renner

Actor Jeremy Renner recently provided an encouraging update on his health, revealing that he’s “feeling pretty great” despite facing some initial challenges upon resuming work following a serious snowplough accident.

Renner, aged 53, has been steadily recovering since the incident on New Year’s Day 2023, during which he sustained severe injuries, including over 30 broken bones, chest trauma, a collapsed lung, and a pierced liver while assisting his nephew. Appearing on Good Morning America on Wednesday, Renner discussed his progress, acknowledging feeling “a little shaky strength-wise” upon his return to work but noting significant improvement since then.

“I’m feeling pretty great. I’m feeling pretty strong. Starting this year’s season was a bit shaky in terms of strength, but towards the end, usually, you’re quite depleted energy-wise, but I feel quite strong now.”

Responding to GMA co-anchor George Stephanopoulos’s query about his “stamina or strength,” Jeremy mentioned, “It’s both. Endurance was lacking initially, but I’m better in both aspects now. I feel really, really strong and really, really happy.”

The Marvel actor shared footage of himself running post-accident, underscoring his journey of recovery and the importance of setting goals and intentions. He highlighted agility and movement as crucial elements in his rehabilitation process.

Renner expressed his determination to enhance his physical strength and capabilities, revealing that sprinting has become a vital part of his recovery routine.

Furthermore, he announced his ongoing book-writing endeavor, aiming to complete the project by year-end.
