Pakistani cricketers have made significant strides in the latest ICC T20I rankings update, thanks to their standout performances in the series against England.

Fakhar Zaman has achieved a remarkable leap, moving up six places to secure the 51st position in the T20I batting rankings. His recent performances with the bat have been instrumental in this rise.

Pakistan’s star bowler, Shaheen Afridi, has also advanced in the rankings. He now holds the 11th spot in the T20I bowling rankings. Afridi’s fiery spells and consistent wicket-taking ability have been crucial for Pakistan, reflecting in his climb up the rankings.

Meanwhile, the reliable batting duo of Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam have maintained their stronghold in the batting rankings, staying firm at third and fourth place, respectively.

England’s skipper Jos Buttler has also made progress, advancing to the seventh position in the batting rankings. His dynamic performance, highlighted by a scintillating 84-run knock against Pakistan, underscores his prowess as a T20 batter.

In the all-rounder category, Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga has claimed the top spot, surpassing Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan. Hasaranga’s exceptional contributions as an all-rounder for his country have earned him the distinction of being the number-one all-rounder in T20I cricket.

These movements in the rankings highlight the competitive nature of international T20 cricket and the outstanding performances of these players on the global stage.

Additionally, Imad Wasim has climbed four places to reach the 12th spot in the T20I all-rounder rankings, while his teammate Shadab Khan has slipped one place, showing the fluctuating nature of the rankings as both continue to vie for top positions.
